THE FINER DETAILS / PRIVACY
Your privacy.
Clearly explained.
A clear account of advertising, site logs, and the designs you choose to save.
01 / ADVERTISING
Advertising
We use AdEngine, a small advertising network run by WeldonPC, the company behind this site. At present, the ads promote our own services.
How an ad reaches your browser
On a page with advertising, your browser loads an AdEngine script, asks for one banner, and loads the banner image. It reports one page view and, once the banner is shown, one ad view. AdEngine receives your IP address, browser type, and the address of the site you are visiting.
AdEngine does not use cookies, build a profile about you, assign you an ID, or track you across sites. Nothing about you is sold or shared.
Local advertising and accurate counts
AdEngine uses your IP address to look up an approximate city in a database on its own server, so ads intended for one area are shown there. This lookup happens on adengine.us; your IP address is not sent to a separate location service.
We also use the IP address temporarily to avoid counting duplicate views and clicks, and to exclude bots and our own office traffic.
Temporary data and daily totals
IP addresses are not stored with the counts. Temporary entries expire within 6 hours and are cleared from the server within 2 days.
AdEngine keeps daily totals of site page views, ad views, and ad clicks: page views for this site, and views and clicks for each ad.
Server access logs
Separate from advertising counts, AdEngine’s standard web server access logs record IP addresses, the time, the address requested, the referring site, and the browser for security. These logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
When you follow an advertisement
Clicking an ad takes you through AdEngine to count the click, then on to the advertiser’s website. The advertiser’s own privacy policy applies to your visit there.
02 / YOUR DESIGNS
Your design, saved.
The design studio remembers your component and visual choices in your browser’s local storage, so you can return to your design.
If you save a planning quote, we store the selected components, visual settings, and planning estimate on our server. Anyone with the quote link can view those choices. Saving a quote does not ask for your name, contact details, or payment information.
Downloaded quote PDFs are prepared from your saved planning estimate. Downloading a PDF does not reserve components, place an order, or request payment.
If you request a builder review, we keep your name, email, country, postal code, optional notes, and selected quote in private server records so we can assess and respond to your request. The status link shows the review stage and component choices; it does not show your contact details or notes. Keep that link private.
We use these details to handle your request and any resulting order. Requesting a review does not reserve stock or place an order. A confirmation page does not mean that an email has been sent.
Planning quotes are estimates. No orders or payments are being accepted on this site today.
Private order receipts use an essential session cookie to remember authorized access on your browser. It is not an advertising cookie. Receipt links include a private access credential; anyone you share the complete link with may access that receipt. We keep order and operational records in private backups for recovery.
When checkout is available, we collect your recipient name, contact email and delivery address before opening Stripe. We save that destination with the order, including an unpaid checkout attempt, and send it to Stripe for checkout, tax calculation and payment verification. The address is locked for that attempt; billing details are not used as a replacement shipping address.
